AABE-NYMAC participated during a Career Day. The Launch Charter School educates approximately 300 students, predominantly children of color, 30% of our students receive special education services, having options on career goals is critical to our community, it is also important for our student to see these options through people who look like them.
About Launch
Launch Expeditionary Learning Charter School is an EL Education middle school in Weeksville/ Crown Heights Section of Brooklyn. Our vision is to ensure that every student develops both their intellect and their character in order to achieve more than they thought possible.
The goal of Career Day is to bring together bright minds to on several career centered panels focused, and on a wide range of subjects, to foster learning, inspiration and wonder – and provoke conversations that matter around career exploration.
