Dear Members and Guests:
The New York Metropolitan Area Chapter (NYMAC) of the American Association of Blacks in Energy (AABE) is one of three chapters in the Northeast Region of the United States. The New York Metropolitan Area Chapter of AABE was founded in 1987, and its members are professionals working in companies such as Consolidated Edison of NY (Con Edison and Orange & Rockland) and the National Grid.
Professionals in all energy and energy-related disciplines (oil, gas, electricity, nuclear, renewables, government, technology, energy services and water) are welcome to join and give our membership a broader knowledge base. College students at accredited institutions studying energy-related fields are also encouraged to join and participate in AABE.
Our mission is to provide energy professionals, executives, entrepreneurs, and students a pathway to learn more about the energy industry through education, mentoring, community service and business networking.
As you navigate through our website, please view our mission, senior officers, committees, activities, and programs.
Sincerely,
William M. Suggs
